    Beautiful cottage, friendly and accommodating owners. Lovely quiet spot with amazing views. Fantastic part of the country. Definitely will return. However the pub is definitely not within 1 mile as stated on the website.

    Wonderful views. Very instrusive road noise from determined bikers. Comfortable house. Pretty well equipped. No wifi and no phone signal (the latter for us at any rate) was limiting. Not a lot of info on things to do or details on recycling and local services. Outside space was limited to gravel and overlooked by neighbouring cottages which was not clearly advertised.

    Benview is well equipped and suited our family of 5 very well and was very comfortable. It is 10 mins drive to Callander along the A84 where you can get everything you need. The property is set back off the A84 in an elevated position with wonderful views of the Loch. The road is quite busy so not suitable for cycling or walking directly from the property with children, but it is only 5 mins drive to a cycle path at Strathyre the runs along the west of the Loch to Callander and beyond and easy for kids. For those reliant on technology - mobile reception is terrible, so be prepared with books, maps etc. Much more to do - we'll need to come back again.

    Lovely cottage with lovely view, no wifi or mobile signal which is not good in the modern world but if your looking to escape such things it's perfect

    what can I say? the best week away we've had! the views are stunning, plenty of space for 6 adults and a 5 month old baby. Clean & tidy, everything you could need for a week away. main road seemed busy but was quiet at night, so we were able to sit outside and enjoy the area. Locals very friendly. Will definitely be looking into going again soon.

    The accommodation was very good and the location stunning. The only negative was no internet signal and very poor signal for a mobile phone. Normally this would not matter for a short stay, but our stay was for 3 weeks.
