It was in a lovely location and a very clean, attractive and spacious property with all necessary equipment included. The owner also left us milk and wine which was very much appreciated.

Superb position, with lovely views. Location was perfect for both north and south coast line, which was what we wanted. Warning - about the approach, private road half a mile long. Really big deep pot holes to negotiate. We had fantastic weather (mid Oct).

The cottage was very comfortable with lovely views over the countryside and river, but the bathroom and shower lacked any shelfs or cabinet to store toiletries, the cottage was very isolated and down a half a mile track in terrible condition, which was ok for four x fours but difficult for normal cars.

Wish we could have safely walked to another place. Details said we could walk to Fowey but we couldn't realistically. Directions to property ate bad. Should say turn let between granite posts that are signposted Private road. Should be more than 4 mugs in barn.

Extremely well equipped, very comfortable and warm, Bellscat is at a stunning location with wonderful views of farmland, woods and the estuary - so much so that sometimes we chose to return early in order to enjoy the peace, tranquility, the wildlife and the sheer beauty of Bellscat and its surroundings. It is well placed for travelling north or south and near to the Eden Project and Lanhydrock. It provided a great base for a wonderful holiday with a variety of options for days out, whether at National Trust properties and gardens or coastal path walks, seaside villages or beautiful coves.
