This is a great little cozy cottage in an amazing location. We could walk from our doorstep through miles of magnificent countryside. The local pub across the green has great food. The cottage has everything you need and a great kitchen. The one thing the place would benefit from is a shower. Would definitely stay there again.

Cosy cottage , great value for money in a amazing location. Only down point , would suggest installation of a shower above bath.

Cosy cottage. Amazingly comfortable bed. Steep staircase could be a problem if you have mobility problems. Garden not fully enclosed and it is not clear whether the garden extends to behind the neighbouring property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If you want a quiet, comfortable bolt-hole, it is ideal.

We have tremendously enjoyed staying at Belle Vue. The view is wonderful, the lounge is very comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need. We found there were plenty of things to do and see in Eggleston and in Tees- and Weardale. Furthermore, we enjoyed a day in nearby Durham (about three quarters of an hour by car) and in Beamish open air museum. The house has guides and brochures for walks and castles etc. to visit. The bedroom is very cosy, the bed very good and we would like to come back one day.

This cottage is well placed for walking in Teasdale and in the spring great access to the wild flower meadows -the Teasdale assemblage. On the negative side about this cottage is the lack of a shower and low water pressure in the bath room making running a bath time consuming. The kitchen could do with a cooks knife and a few more serving dishes.
