Lovely setting and ideal for those that like to fish. Felt the kitchen needed a deep clean my only issue really. The hosts were so nice and helpful, I had forgotten tea bags and was gasping after 7 hour drive she gave me a packet. Some lovely things to do locally but all need a car and get your food shopping before you arrive. It was beautiful watching a horse and her foal from the bedroom. Would definitely rebook if staying up that way again.

Situated in a wonderful position surrounded by countryside. Nine fishing lakes on one side and fields on the other, with wild animals to watch, it was unique as I am used to street lights and traffic. Rooms were quirky with beams and uneven floors upstairs as is found in what was a barn. Three bathrooms/shower and well appointed bedrooms and kitchens. We were made to feel welcome by the owners who are on site if needed. Location made it easy to reach the park and ride into Chester which we really enjoyed and a trip to Zoo and outlet shopping was a must.
