well we had two weeks over christmas and new year, so not the cheapest time to rent. but if you want peace and quiet yet 5 mins car drive to a Tesco/petrol etc then this it it. I gave location an 8 because cars are not advised to drive down the short lane ( 50 yds? ) only to unload. it took a really good tug on the handbrake and put in gear to stop the car from shifting. so much so that on the day we left we carried all our stuff up. so not for the weak or faint hearted! But if you want to sleep in total silence except for owls hooting and dont mind graveyards (its sited by an ancient but lovely church and burial ground ) then this sweet ..but touch ''shabby honest'' cottage is for you. the elderly Rayburn is on constantly like a little heart beating out gentle background heat and comfort. the lady care taker lived local and came to our rescue when we thought we had a problem. so yes I would go again but not take so much 'stuff'
