Good location a couple of minutes drive from Tesco supermarket. Cottage really rustic and loved the Rayman and open fire to keep you toasty. The overall cleanliness could have been better - I wanted to rehash all things being used in the kitchen just in case because you can never trust other people's hygiene. The pots and pans could do with an update to be non stick. Otherwise I would definitely stay here again.

Beehive Cottage is a beautiful little house in such a peaceful and tranquil location. It was lovely to sit out in the garden in the evening and hear nothing but birds! Bed was incredibly comfy too. Couple of downsides: rather wet dog smell in the lounge, and oven unfortunately worked on overdrive! This made it really difficult to cook, which was a slight annoyance when you've chosen a self catering holiday to be able to cook at the property. Nonetheless we would stay again and had a lovely, relaxing week!

Unfortunately, we did not have the best weather when we stayed so the low lighting in the cottage was noticeable. I do think that this needs looking at as it was really the only minus for us - it felt a little dark. It is a lovely little cottage. It is clean and well-cared for. However, I do think it is a little over-priced for a week's stay, even in high season.
