It had all the space for 8 adults and 8 children under 10 years to thoroughly enjoy their week together. The bedrooms all with TV and ensuite we're clean and comfortable. Grandparents had a bedroom with views and a settee. There is a large sitting room above the playroom/bar which has a pool table. The soundproofing is excellent. Kitchen is well eqipped. Position was ideal, walking into town and walking up the hill behind the house gave access to the coastal path. Everyone walked to Lee and back and quite a few walked from the house to Woolacombe where they met the younger ones on the beach. Lovely walk at Watersmeet, golf, horse riding - loads of things to do nearby. Its lived in nature made the stay more relaxing than a more pristine property. Owners helpful and friendly.

a good sized family house, excellent bedrooms en-suite, comfortable sofa's, plenty of eating areas, kitchen wasn't the best size or lay-out but had everything ( two cookers essential for Christmas).

We stayed at Beechwood House as a large family/friend group and it has everything we like, very comfortable ensuite bedrooms, well equipped kitchen and eating area. The bar was a nice addition too. Peaceful and quite yet only a short walk into town, there is an interesting walk along the cliffs above the house

The house is in need of quite a lot of TLC. Showers were not working, the beds were damp, there are no door locks on the bedroom doors. A lot of the bedroom radiators did not work and neither did the lounge radiators. It is in a good area but I would not recommend it.

Perfect house for big family parties. Kitchen a joy, not posh high tec, but masses of cutlery, crockery and pans etc. Pool table went down well with all, bonus if rainy day.
