Take a trip to Windermere or Bowness to discover the Beatrix Potter museum or enjoy a cruise on the lake. Ambleside, Coniston and Kendal are just a short drive. Shop, pub and restaurant ⅓ mile.

    The best self catering we have ever been in best of everything a very nice area a wonderful view from the apartment grange itself has plenty of shops and cafes a cruise on lake Windermere is a must also a visit to cartmel

    The apartment is everything we hoped for,clean, well equipped with comfy beds & pillows.The view is amazing & it is so peaceful, it was our own little sanctuary. The owner made us very welcome &gave us loads of info of places of interest.

    great location ,beautiful views across the bay .the apartment was well located for a stroll down hill to the prom.the apartment was well equipped and extremely clean The owner was very helpful and friendly ..would stay again .

    Lovely little apartment, extremely well equipped and comfortable. A bit of a hike up a very steep hill from the town centre. Overall excellent and we would stay again

    A lovely apartment, very clean, modern, warm, well furnished and equipped. It was in an ideal position, just a walk away from the town centre and all the amenities there. There was a bit of a hill to walk up from Grange, but we are in our sixties and we managed it without any problem. It was close to the surrounding countryside, where there were many walks to be enjoyed. We had a car parking space, and a lovely garden area. We spent a week at the apartment and never used the car, relying instead on walking, the buses and the trains. Grange itself is a lovely town to spend time in.

    Very well equipped and comfortable, lovely views, be aware that although only a 10-12 minute walk to the shopping area, it is a very steep 15 minute walk back. As stated in the details wifi is unreliable although most of the time ok by the window in the small bedroom. Friendly, helpful owner, warm and comfortable place to stay.
