We had a great stay. Mattress could be a bit firmer but that is a personal preference. All in all a wonderful relaxing and peaceful place for a holiday. Kids had a blast and were sad to leave their 'dream' home.

Lovely location, very quiet and peaceful. Lodge well laid out and comfortable. If you are a keen angler then the lake is just 15 paces from your front door. Lake stocked with carp, tench and rainbow trout. Surrounding countryside stunning as well are the grounds of the lodges. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday away from it all this is the place.

Had a lovely holiday at Beech Lodge. Owners Monica and Derek remained accessible but not obtrusive. Lovely cream tea on arrival made by Monica. Could not fault the location or cleanliness. Lovely and warm. My only minor point would be that may a few more pieces in the kitchen would be useful. Dish to utilise as a fruit bowl, glass jug for Pimms/cocktails and lidded casserole would have been an advantage but as said, only very minor points.

We could not fault any aspect of Beech Lodge, The care and attention shown by our hosts to enhance the natural beauty of the site was far beyond our expectations. We have no hesitation in recommending this to anyone seeking peace, relaxation, and the bonus, no mobile phone coverage. Will we go back, oh yes
