Firstly, the house and grounds are amazing, we were met shortly after our arrival by the most welcoming host we have ever met. So friendly chatty, approachable, & warm. Its very refreshing after a long journey with the kids to be met with such a smile. The house was cleaned well throughout before our arrival. All equipment present and working. The local farmer even stopped by for the children to see his tractor and sit in it for photos. We were allowed to walk up the sheep field with the children to the windmill on the hill which the kids loved. We had no problems during our stay, however if we had I would have felt more than comfortable to contact the owners, who live on site. We had a courtesy call, after check-out the owners are posting a charger left behind at no charge, LOVELY PEOPLE!! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property, they even have a smaller one I would consider going back to with the wife a weekend getaway. I know we would be very well looked after.

We had the best time ever, the house was amazing. Nerys and david were so welcoming and helpful. The views were breathtaking, the location is perfect for exploring wales. A few hours walking followed by a nice swim, sauna and hot tub before dinner - then a movie in the huge TV room, of course with a glass or two- almost the perfect day, and then waking up to do it all again the next day. We miss the place already and definitely plan on going back.

Great for large parties but let down in the details. Looks lovely on the surface but numerous issues meaning we couldn't use the pool 3 x inc for a full day...or the hot tub and got electric shocks off a stereo inside the sauna!! Lack of communication from owners and when they did reply denied any problems and claimed we had turned hot.tub off which we did not ....did we also fill.it to the brim...at the same time.meaning it was stone cold...i think not as we did not have access to that! Claimed shocks.were because we were touching it with wet hands...no that was because it was NOT EARTHED. Pool pumps stopped working on numerous occasions so no water being pumped round hence not heating pool...last day pool unusable all day due to cloudy water and being cold. With a strange film floating on the top. App they attended and added a chemical to clear the water we only found they had done this 6 hours later and this did Not work and when you have young children and babies and the pool is not clear with a film of something over it then No we are not going to use it.....no reply from owners as to what they put in it to make it safe to use.......despite asking was just.told.it was safe. We believe that as we were.due to leave the next day they didn't really care. Deep cleaning needed found dirt everywhere inc other people's mess under sofas. Dirt under beds. Fans in bathrooms thick with dirt. Dishwasher worked once only. Then refused to work at all. No instructions for Cooker or dishwasher or washer dryer which did not dry anything. Welcome pack should have all those details in it. All in all could be lovely. But on this occasion at at the price we paid for a week on July August was not worth it. Can only sssume that as a lot of people who book this are on a hen or stag party that due to the amount of alcohol being consumed that these.issues would barely be noticed. But as a family they were. Owner denied any issues as stated previously. Despite text messages and phone messages she just assumed it was the hot tub that had issues and tried to fob us off with excuses about the pool. And used lots of defensive comments in the replies we.received along with lots of !!!!!!!s Could have been a lovely holiday if there had not been so many issues. Communication a massive issue. When you report something wrong in the morning and again to a member of staff who says the owner will be in soon.....you don't expect an excuse 8 hours later. Being at work is not an excuse. This is a rental snd issues Should be addressed before.they get out of hand. Wi-Fi barely existed. Water pressure awful if someone is having a shower downstairs you have no water in the kitchen. Wasps all over the place due to bins outside so limited having windows open. Even had random people coming in as they thought it was a beauty parlour. Would love to have recommended but sadly cannot.

Was a great weekend away with family Everything was perfect apart from not having bathrobes to go to the jacuzzi which is located outside the property Ask flies kept coming in one room where the guests in that room had to sleep on the sofa
