This is a lovely location if you want to just relax, it is a bit remote but has lovely views. The recycling initially is complicated but there are lots of instructions to help. The barn is clean but above eye level does need some attention. The kitchen is dark and could do with more lighting. The sitting room is lovely with a large TV for those that need one. the master bedroom is large with lovely views. The bed is comfortable and it has everything you need. The other main bedroom needs a new bed, it is being supported by a pile of books at the moment. The bathrooms are first class with good showers. Although it is dog friendly inside they need to be on the lead all the time outside. The sheep can come right up to the barn. If it was not so remote and more dog friendly outside we would return.

Every comfort here, particularly loved the underfloor heating, it was good and important to come back to a warm house after an October day out. The children loved the Jacuzzi. The views from outside the barn were tremendous, and it was good to be able to walk straight out of the house onto the hill behind. Rather a pity the kitchen was very dark as there are no windows, which would have given a great view from inside. Being October it was too chilly to sit outside and admire the distant hills. We had an excellent family week , and only one and a half wet days. Our host was friendly and helpful. A few suggestions re places to visit by the owner, would have been good. There were commercial leaflets but mostly out of date. The re-cycling methods were a bit complicated and some of the instructions contradicted each other but we did our best! But these are minor details, all in all , we would thoroughly recommend this very comfortable house.
