Beachaven satisfied all of our requirements.. It is located in an area with lots to do and see within a small radius and the group of six senior citizen were very happy with the set-up.

Just had a lovely week at Beachaven. The house is well equipped, roomy and comfortable. The only 2 complaints I have are the mattress in the main bedroom is so soft, really uncomfortable and the door to the ensuite in the same room won't open without dragging on the floor ( we actually stayed here 2 years ago and was exactly the same ). These are only minor things and overall we had a nice time at Beachaven. The bar and bbq place at the beach was a bonus !!

Good accommodation. Spacious and clean. Good base to venture to all areas of Cornwall. 5 minute walk to a good beach with beach bar and food bar etc. Good to come back to at the end of the day for a couple of hours. Outside at the back needs some attention. Needs a renewal of garden furniture, weeding etc. Felt a bit neglected. Didn't realise train running straight past the property but didn't pose too much disruption. Bedrooms superb size and bonus having ensuites in each room. Lovely balcony area off front bedroom. Great open living space and toddler friendly on the whole, although would benefit from new stair gate and one for the bottom of the stairs too as well as child locks on the cupboards with it being open plan. Didn't like having to remove all of rubbish. Should be in with the cleaning of the property. All in all a really good property for a group of 6 and if coming back to that area would definitely stay again.

We loved the property and garden. Our only disappointment was the mattresses on the 2. single beds. These are very, very uncomfortable. I hope they are going to be replaced. We booked a long weekend, and any longer would have been a problem because of the mattresses. We were asked not to use the dustbins but to take away our waste and recycling, after our bank holiday weekend. We disposed of our rubbish for the first 2. days, but had to leave a bin bag in the dustbin on our last day as our cars were too full to fit it in! We paid the requested £200 damage deposit, and hope that this will be re-paid as we didn't break anything. We had a lovely break and would certainly like to return one day.

There was a shortage of glasses, which the owner rectified immediately, however little things like only 3 Teaspoons , one tea towel , no oven gloves, etc etc only minor items but frustrating at times.
