We had the relaxed, active, outdoors holiday that we were hoping for. The bungalow is modern, bright and comfortable. Beadnell is a really natural, un-showy, good-for-the soul kind of place with a fantastic unspoilt bay and beach. Our kids loved the surf and dunes. Excellent dog walks from the door in all directions. Thank you.

Our second visit as we like the cottage and the area's not to busy. Everything was spotless and well decorated. If you don't want to use a car there is a bus stop just outside.

Many visitors return to Beach Haven, and we are no exception. Parking is right outside the door, the house is well fitted and maintained, and Beadnell is a friendly location on an attractive coastline. We recommend the fresh and smoked fish from Swallows at Seahouses, and the village shop nearby is a good convenience store. The house and locality are dog-friendly and the scenery around nearby Alnwick is delightful. The welcome "goodies" show that the owner pays attention to detail. We travel nearly 300 miles to get there - it must be good or we wouldn't want to do it again !

What a lovely cottage and in a great location. At the end of the road is the beach, which you can walk along for miles either way, and a handy shop for all your needs. Outside there's a bus stop if you fancy leaving the car at home. And at the other end of the road there's a couple of pubs and a cafe. The cottage was perfectly done out in pretty decor with a good range of cooking utensils etc, comfy sofas and a very nice bathroom. Beds were comfortable with nice linen. We (parents and older teenage daughter) really enjoyed our first trip to this part of the world - so much to see and the coastal path really is an area of outstanding beauty. Great historical sites, friendly people and welcoming pubs. A small niggle would be that the wi-fi was intermittent and we had to re-set it a few times which could have been problematic if we were relying on it. We would definitely return but if we were going to stay longer than a week I think we would have liked a washing machine.
