What a lovely cottage and in a great location. At the end of the road is the beach, which you can walk along for miles either way, and a handy shop for all your needs. Outside there's a bus stop if you fancy leaving the car at home. And at the other end of the road there's a couple of pubs and a cafe. The cottage was perfectly done out in pretty decor with a good range of cooking utensils etc, comfy sofas and a very nice bathroom. Beds were comfortable with nice linen. We (parents and older teenage daughter) really enjoyed our first trip to this part of the world - so much to see and the coastal path really is an area of outstanding beauty. Great historical sites, friendly people and welcoming pubs. A small niggle would be that the wi-fi was intermittent and we had to re-set it a few times which could have been problematic if we were relying on it. We would definitely return but if we were going to stay longer than a week I think we would have liked a washing machine.

Great little bungalow with lovely interior and in a great location. The only downside for us was that our dog is a bit of an escape artist and could have easily squeezed through some gaps at the bottom of the back fence behind the shrubs, and the side gate was quite low too so we kept her on a lead in the garden.... But not all dogs are like ours!... Not too much of a problem though as there are brilliant walks on the doorstep.

Yards from beaches, very warm, quiet and comfortable. Easy parking. Cottage has wifi and useful stock of local information. All the kitchen appliances were there and in good order. The one WC is in the bathroom Beadnell is very dog - friendly with good walks in all directions, the cottage has hard floors,so no anxiety over marked carpets. The Towers Hotel and Craster Arms both within short stroll distance, both offer good food and (well behaved !) dogs are welcome . Nearby convenience store sells papers, and good choice of beverages, foods as well as ancillary goods. Do visit the charming village church too.
