A really nice, comfortable and very clean cottage. It was very cosy when it Snowed. The log burner was great. The bird table at the bottom of the garden was a magnet for a wide variety of birds. The garden would be really nice in the summer.

My wife is a clean freak. Often the first half day of our holidays is spent by her cleaning the accommodation to get it up to her standard before she can relax. She didn't do that here because it was already super clean. So as long as they keep the same cleaner this wont be a problem ::) The property is absolutely perfect for two, would make a lovely weekend or week retreat. Very relaxing with a nice seating areas outside and in. We actually went as a family of four and used the bed settee in the lounge. It was a squeeze (Only one bedroom) but very functional and obviously with only one bedroom it was economically priced which was a part of our holiday equation. The settee bed was very comfortable. Very well equipped, TV and internet both available. Quiet location about 10 minutes drive from Tiptree where there is everything you will need (Supermarket, takeaways, baker, petrol station etc etc). 20 minutes to centre of Colchester or Heybridge which both have main stream high street offerings, macdonalds, etc.

Perfect hideaway for two people. Without the patio it would have been just too small we had a visitor and did some outdoor cooking plus a small dog. Wood burner brilliant. A really cosy cottage with useful and convenient parking.

2nd time this month that we have used the cottage as we were attending events in the area. It is as described, compact, clean and comfortable with everything provided to make it a comfortable place to stay. Would happily use it again, having already stayed three times to date.

The little cottage was very clean , a very comfy bed. The wood burner was a plus point when coming back after a day out. There are just a couple of minor things we only had two large towels and two small not really enough and the toilet brush was a bit nasty
