Simple cottage. Good location if you are interested in everything sir Walter Raleigh. We took 2 medium sized dogs. The garden space was not suitable for our dogs. It would be suitable for lap dogs only. Property decorated in simple style. Ok for short break.

This was one of the most peaceful and relaxing cottages that we have stayed in. It had everything that was needed to make it a lovely holiday. The cottage was very comfortable on every aspect.

No shops within walking distance and difficult to find initially by car due to poor quality road access but otherwise lovely accommodation and a great week overall, no qualms about housing five teenagers. Owners had left biscuits, DVDs and games, as well as plenty of leaflets and information about the local area which we found very useful, though be warned - not very close to many 'attractions'.

Response in behalf of the owner; Thank you for your comments. Within a 5 minute walk there is the community shop in the village. There are also several attractions within a 15 minute drive including Exmouth and Sidmouth towns.

East Budliegh was a central location to our intended itinerary and very pleasant in its own right, with quaint thatches and interesting church and graveyard
