The house met very need and we were very comfortable in a spacious, very warm house. The only thing that marred our visit was there was no electricity on our arrival and we had to enlist the help of a neighbour to sort out the problem. Also there was no instruction on how to work the television. Again a neighbour helped.

We had a good holiday because it was the first experience for us as a family with the Norfolk Broads. However, Barton House, although OK in terms of location and size was rather antiquated. For the price, it needs to be upgraded with a better main bathroom and dishwasher. the garden was good, providing safe space for the children to play yet had access to the river for excursions.
