Fantastic cottage-best equipped cottage we've stayed at, even had plastic plates, etc for kids. Had everything you could possibly think of needing and more. Milk and fruit bowl was an added bonus. The cottage itself if huge but warm and cosy too. Immaculate too with obviously no expense spared to make it an ideal holiday get away.

Overall this was a good holiday break. We liked the location of this cottage as well as the size of the house. There are a few things, that, to our opinion, definitely need to be improved. One of them is the cookware. Frying pans are old and the non-stick coating gone, so they need to be replaced. There is also a very basic set of knifes. Unfortunately there was no coffee machine. I think there was a tiny leakage of water in one of the bathrooms. Other than that, we had good time at Barrow Barn.

Blessed with decent weather. Lovely accommodation in a small village. Local amenities sparse- mainly the local pub, but it is a very good pub- decent beer and food.

House could have done with a clock perhaps in the kitchen, and a night light in the long hallway. All cottages don't appear to have key racks either. Other than that, excellent.
