We had a lovely time at tirée cottage, it had everything we needed, even a washing machine, the wifi was good as was the TV with multiple channels, it's completely dog friendly which was very important to us.

we have appreciated the good WIFI, but the cottage self had some lacks: nog possibility to open the windows, no hot water (in the kitchen/ bath), the access to the cottages was very bad:full of pits...

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; We are sorry that you had some issues with your stay at Tiree Cottage. As the cottage has been newly decorated a couple of the windows are a bit difficult to open. We have now remedied this so all windows open freely. The hot water is working fine both in the kitchen and bathroom. As we explained at the time you must have inadvertently switched off the switch in the airing cupboard. We have double checked the system and it is working perfectly. The front access to the cottages is a bit bumpy being gravel rather than tarmac, but the back access is perfectly smooth and all guests are advised to use this route. We take pride in ensuring our guests have a lovely holiday with us. Please come again and we will make sure everything is perfect.

Superb cottage, one of the best we've stayed in. Very clean and comfortable with friendly hosts and an excellent location. Highly recommended.

Cottage was good value for what we paid. Owner was very friendly and helpful, couldn't have asked for any better. The cottage is in need of some repair work - the windows could do with a bit of TLC, and the skylight over the toilet was dripping water, possibly from condensation, which was bearable but a bit annoying! Randomly we couldn't find any teaspoons in the kitchen but otherwise it was well stocked with cutlery, crockery and salt, pepper, oil etc for cooking if need be. Furniture is very comfortable, area is lovely although unfortunately we were there on a particularly miserable week weather-wise. Easy access to Oban and therefore Mull, provided you have a car, and the surrounding area very pleasant too.

Our family of four (plus two dogs) had a great stay here. It started with a wonderfully warm welcome from Chris who could not have been more helpful. The cottage was very comfortable and in a secluded location close to the forest - it felt really cosy. DVDs and basic items such as dishwater tablets were provided which were a nice touch. We were due to leave on the day of storm Doris but Chris was happy for us to check out later that afternoon so that we would miss the worst of the storm on our journey back to Lancashire. A lovely, comfortable stay in a great location with perfect hosts. Fabulous. First class and will no doubt stay again.

A friendly welcome to a very nice terraced cottage (although Windows need some tlc) clean and with all you need for a self cater break. Mod cons inc tv and wifi. Great base for discovering Oban, Mull and surrounds. Great (Creagan) Inn (dog friendly) 10 minutes drive North. Be aware the adjacent Balcardine Hotel is empty awaiting renovation (October 2016). Also beware the main entrance (pothole nightmare). There is a good access road on the l.h. fork.
