Accommodating up to 7 guests, this spacious property is ideal for a small family gathering to celebrate that special occasion.

These four beautiful self-catering holiday cottages (refs: W43191, W43192, W43193, W43194) and a studio (ref: W43195) are situated just 2 miles from the pretty, picturesque village of St Agnes and just minutes from the dramatic North Cornish Coast. Property refs W43191 and W43192 can be booked together to accommodate upto 13 guests. Peacefully set in a wooded valley next to a footpath alongside a stream, 11/2 miles from Porthtowan, these delightful properties, set in beautifully landscaped gardens, are ideally located for touring the whole of Cornwall and are perfect for a relaxing country holiday. Mount Hawke is a small village with a local shop, but for a wider choice, take a trip to St Agnes or Truro, the county capital, with Gothic cathedral, cinema, theatre, restaurants, individual shops and indoor market. St Agnes boasts many cafés, restaurants, craft shops and galleries. An ideal centre for walking and exploring the Cornish coastline, cliffs and coves with an abundance of wildlife including porpoises and dolphins. Visitors will be spoilt for choice with beaches including Porthtowan, Trevellas Warren, Portreath and a little further afield, Perranporth with its beach bar right on the sand. The Eden Project near St Austell, Maritime Museum at Falmouth, Newquay Sealife Centre, Flambards Theme Park, Towan’s Miniature Railway and numerous National Trust properties are all easily reached and provide a great day out for the family. The coast road that runs west towards St Ives is a must with many sweeping beaches, quiet coves and coastal villages that make up this enchanting area of Cornwall. Horse riding, golf, surfing, sea fishing and cycling are all available close by. Shop 700 yards, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

    Had a fantastic stay at bannsvale farmhouse , The farmhouse was the best we'd stayed in , the gardens were lovely. Our boys aged 12 , 9 and 8 loved running around and meeting all the animals and didn't want to leave , Joyce was an absolute pleasure and so very helpful .We will certainly be returning.

    This was our second stay, we don't usually go back anywhere so this says a lot! The value for money was excellent, and the house is well equipped and clean. Kitchen very well equipped and plenty of everything. We appreciate the separate utility and the large larder cupboard. Although the owners live on site and this is part of a small complex of properties, it doesn't feel over developed and the owners aren't at all intrusive. Two General stores nearby in the village and the nearest beach at Porthtowan is only a few minutes drive away. Very handy for the A30 yet far enough away to feel very rural. Lovely setting.

    We had a wonderful week here the farmhouse was very comfortable and had plenty of room a walk in pantry and lots of cupboard space a huge entrance hall the beds where very comfortable and it had 3 showers which was a bonus for a large family.we enjoyed using the wood burner fire chopping sticks up to burn, the children loved chasing round as there was so much space. Outside there was a small holding with lots of farm animals to feed and a trampoline for the children, a running brook was beautiful, only downside was it was difficult to get the cars in and out ofthe driveway as it backed onto a small road so there was not much room to manover, but that would not put us of coming again.

    Visited here in the end of January 2017 and we were made to feel very welcome. Such a beautiful place, lovely play area outside for the children. Safe and secure garden. Would highly recommend and would definitely come back. We wanted somewhere secluded and in the countryside. Sort drive to local amenities nearest super store less than 3miles away. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable
