although the cottage was well situated for my purposes, sea fishing, I was disappointed on the final day to get a note through the door, although I was in, informing me that my electric bill for the week was 30euro exactly. I have stayed in many cottages in Ireland ,even in October and have never payed more than 6 or 7 euro for a weeks stay . At home I only pay 18£ a MONTH, so was not very happy. Not having seen the meter at the start of the holiday, in fact I do not know where the meter was situated , I was unable to query the reading and decided the best thing to do was to pay up. However I will not be staying there again. It's a pity as otherwise it was an ideal place from my point of view.
