The cottage was much better inside than it looked from outside. The surrounding area was very run down and the way in was quite difficult. However the shops, eateries and pubs were close by and easy to access. The cottage was lovely and quite cosy. Not too keen on the hardwood floors which our elderly dog found challenging. However overall the cottage was fine.

Right in the centre of Llandeilo, which was great for walking to cafes, pubs, fish and chip shop etc, but did mean the cottage had very limited outdoor space - just a small yard. Inside, the cottage is very well appointed in a quirky style and has good quality furniture and equipment. We did feel there was a lack of clothes storage for two people for a week's stay (perhaps a chest of drawers could be put on the landing?) and there didn't seem to be any table mats or coasters! Other than these very minor quibbles, we had a lovely stay.

Nicely presented - loved the decor. Open and spacious. Very comfortable bed. Bathroom is pretty but the bath on feet is quite high off the floor - a bit problematic when getting out! No dishwasher so more focus on lots of tea towels, fresh scourers etc would be good. Also, could do with instructions for the cooker. Some clarity re parking would be good: property is billed as having 2 parking spaces but the neighbours think otherwise!! Location is great - we loved Llandeilo. Walking is wonderful.
