It was a very pleasant stay for us and we were lucky with the weather. The accommodation is perfectly fine and would suit a family of up to 6 - a double en-suite bedroom downstairs; double bedroom and twin bedroom upstairs plus shower-toilet. The living room light was unusual - a 3-lamp fitting in the ceiling centre with only 2 bulbs and 2 shades when we arrived, then 1 bulb failed. The TV was the oldest I've seen in a very long time being a glass cathode ray tube model. However it worked fine with a freeview box and DVD player (needing us to manually swap the SCART leads at the back of the TV). It is a bit of a walk to any beaches or the village so a car helps. The Hook Peninsula is well worth a drive round and a visit to the lighthouse. I recommend Loftus Hall.
