This could have been a great break, unfortunately it was not presented at its best. We arrived at 15:00 but were unable to enter the cottage until 15:15 because the cleaners were still there. I am not sure what they cleaned because the carpets downstairs didn't look like they had been cleaned. The shower in the master bedroom did not work. When we located the fuse board the shower fuse had red tape covering it. The sower in the second double bedroom had a blocked drain, I had to buy some drain cleaner to clear the blockage. In the kitchen the fridge door was broken. In the utility room the front of the washing machine was broke. In the living room both sofa were well worn one with a loose arm the other with a loose back. You are given a local contact number if you have any issues. The number starts 009 which means you would have to make an international phone call to Dubai which is quiet expensive by mobile so I didn't call it. Apart from this the beds were comfortable and the rest of the cottage was comfortable and reasonably equipped.

The property needs some general updating and there are a few broken fixtures and fittings. Otherwise the location was good (more info on local walks, eateries etc. would have been welcome) and the scenery is very pretty.

Great location with lots to do locally. Loads of room for 10 of us and very comfortable. Some of the furniture was a little tired but no complaints! It was quite difficult to find initially as there are lots of private roads and the instructions where not very clear. Once you get there you will have a fantastic time. Pucks glen is a lovely walk and the botanical gardens are just a couple of miles away! 51st state in Dunoon is a lovely place to eat, reasonable prices and friendly staff. Ardentinny beach is also worth a visit.

The cottage was lovely though the lighting in the main living room was not good. In addition the access road needed some major attention. Otherwise it was well equipped and in a lovely place - we had both red squirrels and deer as neighbours. The kitchen was well equipped.
