Lovely cottage with beautiful views of the bay. Weather was very good but very windy while we were there in May, too windy to sit out in the sun most days (obviously not the owners fault). Could do with some maintenance - toilet seats were all very loose, cold water tap in the kitchen very difficult to turn on. Downstairs en suite bedroom was excellent as the stairs are steep and not easy for anyone with mobility issues to negotiate. Separate downstairs toilet very handy. Comfy beds, plenty of storage, well equipped, unexpected welcome pack was a very nice touch. Very peaceful, quiet place for a few days to recharge the batteries. Village store handy and friendly.

Fantastic location and great, well appointed house. You can tell the owner cares about the quality of the property and finish, and the wine in the welcome pack was a really nice bonus after a 7 hour drive.

The location is really stunning! The directory to finding the property was not sufficient enough. But we managed it finally. The house itself offers seven beds, but the dining area is too small! We were six and had to squeeze into the dining area, managed just ! for the six of us, looking to the wall, not enjoying the wonderful view. The kitchen was not so well equipped, it didn´t content a coffeemaker, so we had to buy one, lended (as arriving on a Saturday evening) from the very friendly lady next door. One bedroomdoor could not be closed, one bedroom window could not be opened. There are no hooks in the bathrooms, no toiletbrushs (only one ) so we had to buy these too. There was no information about the waste. The vacuum cleaner did not work. There was no broom to be found. But the heating was good!

This is a wonderful cottage to stay in. A superb view out to sea, a small barbecue on the patio, hot water in the showers all day long, a clean and well equipped kitchen with washer/dryer, a log fire heater in the lounge and lots of little items to make the stay more enjoyable (e.g. 2 sets of binoculars for whale/dolphin spotting in the sea - we didn't, but the visiter book indicated that others had!). I've given local amenities a 10 - but you do need a car to reach the supermarket. There is a small shop and a pub serving good food within walking distance.
