The cottage is very old and is furnished accordingly. It is quite small but comfortable downstairs whilst the bedroom is very spacious with two easy chairs and t.v. The village is pretty with a post office/shop which is open at 8am. The village pub is homely and the food good but typical "pub grub". The cottage is ideally situated for visiting a number of National Trust properties in the area and R.S.P.B reserves along with being close to both coasts.

The cottage is in a lovely location but needs updating. The equipment in the kitchen was very old and well used. Them seating in the lounge was very uncomfortable.

We found Sally and Tony very welcoming, all though it is stated that it is a dog friendly cottage it is not dog friendly in the back garden, there is not a fence dividing the owners back garden and bakers cottage and if the dog went out in the back garden it had to be kept on the lead it was made quite clear to us on arrival at meet and greet by Sally.

Modest accomodation but everything you need is available (including maps and information materials about the surroundings).
