Avoca House was comfortable and clean. It had all the facilities we needed for a week of walking in the area. The price was very good too. Would definitely recommend this as a place to stay.

We had a great time, cottage very well equipped and clean. Audrey very helpful. Not so keen about being on main road, and lack of rear garden.

Thank you for a lovely house it a beautiful setting. Our only concern, being on the main road, was not a problem. The location was perfect for getting to Fort William and Glen/Ben Nevis and Glen Coe. And easy access from Glasgow.

Overall a very pleasant stay at this well appointed property. Convenient for Fort William and the surrounding areas and handy having a small shop close by, access to the waters edge and even the nearby Onich hotel which does very good meals. As we have a 2 year old, there are some things worth noting for those with little ones- while the garden is fully enclosed it is right next to the main road which is really busy and little climbers will make short work of the wall. If taking a travel stairgate it needs to be fairly wide to fit the hall stairs, but normal will fit the kitchen and living room doors. For note the phone signal is 2G on O2 and Vodafone (which is better than a lot of places locally where it is non existent).

The owners were very helpful and will make you feel relaxed. Very nice neighbour recommended a few good restaurants. The house was immaculately cleaned. Spacious kitchen dining room with great views. All you need for a rainy day, games, books etc. Vertical descents are a short drive away they offer rafting, via ferrata, canyoning to name a few. Not much of a garden. But we were to busy to use the garden anyway. Tumble dryer is another bonus, you will get wet, it's Scotland. Perfect cottage for four people.
