We really enjoyed our stay at Avoca House. We used it to access hill walking in the area. The house is warm and comfortable with a large living room and kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped with a good range of cooking and cleaning equipment. There was even cling film, kitchen towel, some washing powder, etc. which made for an easy stay. Audrey had left a cake for our arrival, which was very welcome and helped sustain us for the rest of the week. It provided some much needed fuel for a couple of steep climbs. All in all, it was good accommodation in a good location.

Avoca House was comfortable and clean. It had all the facilities we needed for a week of walking in the area. The price was very good too. Would definitely recommend this as a place to stay.

We had a great time, cottage very well equipped and clean. Audrey very helpful. Not so keen about being on main road, and lack of rear garden.
