Description

Enjoy a seaside holiday from this spacious property, with a beach 900m away and the port of Roscoff within easy reach.

In the heart of the attractive, traditional village of Santec, this property is a spacious and practical base for a beach holiday. You can buy your morning baguette and croissants from the bakery on the corner, while the closest beach of fine, white sand is an easy bike ride away. The house has an open plan living area, with fitted kitchen, open fire and a keyboard for budding musicians. A small, sheltered, private terrace provides a quiet corner to sit outside and relax without leaving the house. The surrounding area has long expanses of unspoilt beautiful beaches a short, easy drive away, which are suitable for a wide range of outdoor activities (available at registered centres nearby) or just relaxing on. Discover the coastline either from a kayak or from the coastal path, and stop off for a lunchtime crêpe. A little further afield, the Abers (local name for the picturesque estuaries) are worth exploring. The port of Roscoff is extremely picturesque and has many waterside restaurants and bistros. Buy some locally grown produce from a village market; artichokes, onions, cauliflowers, seafood and fish to name but a few. Beach 900m. Shop and restaurant 100m.

Approximate distance to Brest airport is 61 km.

Absolutely beautiful property. Well equipped kitchen with plenty of space for a family meal and enough thoughtful basics to get you going on your holiday such as olive oil, pasta, condiments, tea and coffee and cleaning products. Very comfortable sitting room with fabulous squishy sofas and armchairs. Plenty of DVDs and music available for an evening in. Choice of two beautifully finished wet room and bathroom with superb showers. Whole house immaculate and clean. Excellent location with boulangerie just feet away at the end of the road for the best bread daily. Small local supermarket a very short walk away for all your shopping needs and a tabac at the end of the road (sadly the owner was on holiday the week we were there so it was closed but would definitely have visited if it were open). Cannot find any negatives about this property. Would definitely return and can highly recommend to prospective holiday makers looking for somewhere comfortable to stay in a beautiful area, miles of coastline and clean easily accessible beaches and wonderful countryside. Just lovely, lovely, lovely!
