The cottage being an old miners cottage was lovely but the sofas are absolutely awful, the average height person will find them very uncomfortable ,They need replacing as mentioned in so many other peoples reviews . An outside light would be ideal as a dark area. There was mould and damp. We had a heating problem as in no rads worked upstairs or in the lounge . Which was rectified by the caretaker giving us some elec heaters as the engineer could not fix the problem ( March 17th. Snow. ) but the heating definitely needs an upgrade. The cottage definitely needs some tlc, and if it was to get the tlc it desperately needs we would return .

Atlantic Cottage is a lovely little traditional Cornish cottage which is right I the middle of the Cornish tin mining industry. The cottage was clean and friendly and the open fire was a welcome sight at the end of a February winter’s day. I would happily reccomend this cottage for a holiday break as it represented good value for money and is situated in a nice village with a well stocked village shop just down the lane and, equally importantly, a couple of pubs close by with WiFi.

The cottage was in a perfect location in Pendeen but apart from white goods it was shabby and in need of a lot of tender loving care to make it a place to want to stay. We had a cancellation price which was worth it but not worth the full price. The sofas were uncomfortable as was the double bef
