At the Crossroads was a lovely homely cottage and immaculate, cleanliness to a very high standard. The owners lived across the road and were very kind and welcoming, butter and milk in the fridge, biscuits and fruit bread provided and a blazing fire in the grate. The house is spacious and with everything one would need on holiday. Bedding could do with updating, duvets rather than blankets would be more appropriate, likewise sofa and armchairs in the living room, loved the rocking chairs.

An excellent week in lovely countryside. Cottage reasonably close to good pubs and restaurant. A 15-20 minute drive to the lovely little town of Westport full of interesting shops selling local produce and crafts, also lots of pubs with live Traditional Irish music and good restaurants. To have been within easy walking distance of pub/restaurant would have been ideal.
