The house was comfortable and extremely well equipped -- there were even Christmas decorations. On our arrival we very much appreciated being provided with milk, coffee, tea, etc. and even a cake. As well as booklets about local places of interest, the cottage had, for instance, glass cabinets with china and a supply of good novels, making it feel really homely.

We were very comfortable in this well appointed, roomy and tastefully f urnished cottage. Where we did have a problem (with the central heating and tv) the owner arrived quickly to advise and help. It is in a good position to get to places in and around the Cotswolds.

The cottage was quaint but with a few modern features such as the relatively new downstairs bathroom, dishwasher, washing machine etc. The location was excellent for exploring the North East quarter of the Cotswolds and the local shop was decent if not amazing. There was also a good supply of essentials left in the cottage such as milk, tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper and so on, as well as a very nice cake on arrival. Also, despite having 3 adults and 3 small children staying there, it never felt crowded and we all had plenty of space. My only complaints we be that the timer on the boiler did not work, meaning we had to remember to manually turn it on in advance when we needed hot water, and that the kitchen utensils and cooking equipment could do with an update.

Second time staying at this cottage. Well equipped and great location. Lovely pubs on your doorstep as well as the brewery for a tour or just to have a bite to eat.
