Beautiful setting, lovely grounds, spacious house, wonderful terrace, good location and great for our large mixed group. The bathrooms, whilst obviously recently updated, were the one area that need swift improvement as our party of 14 had 2 working showers and these had no pressure. This made mornings a bit like a camping experience with people traversing the house and queuing for the working showers. In addition the kitchen was actually too well equipped with bakeware and equipment but as a consequence had no cupboard space for food and there were not enough glasses for the while party. This was a wonderful house but theses areas need sorting out to make people's stay up to scratch.

Our extended family of 16 with age range 20 months to 89'years enjoyed a wonderful Christmas in this traditional farmhouse. We were welcomed with cake & bubbly. A beautifully decorated tree shone in the cosy kitchen/diner. Wood burners with plenty of fuel made the sitting rooms welcoming, with room for us all to sit in comfort. The owners contacted us by telephone to ensure that everything was satisfactory which was a nice touch. Our children enjoyed using the tennis court on dry days. Would definitely book again if we all decide to spend Christmas away from home. Also a great place for a summer break.
