We had a lovely stay at Hawthorne Cottage. It was amazing - looked like brand new! had everything we could need and more - specially enjoyed the welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk plus wine and chocolates - thank you so much Maria!! It was handy for us as we were visiting my daughter who is working at Butlins. Only a couple of miles away but a world away from the noise and madness of the half term/Halloween crowds there! A lovely quiet retreat for us!

A lovely place to stay for a short break. The cottage is well equipped, decorated to a high standard and was clean on arrival. It is situated in an ideal location; away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to local attractions. The owner was very welcoming and available if necessary.

This is an ideal retreat for a couple. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you could need. The welcome pack of wine, chocolates, milk, and 2 little pots of jam and marmalade was very much appreciated. In addition the tea, coffee and sugar containers were full. The location is very quiet, surrounded by open fields, populated by many rabbits and various other wildlife. It is ideally placed for exploring this part of the Lincolnshire coast being only 5 minutes by car into Skegness and only 30mins drive from most other towns such as Mablethorpe, Louth and Horncastle. I would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone wishing to visit this area.
