Second visit so we knew what to expect, and it was again a lovely, relaxing break, our dog was shattered after her walks on the beach, but still found the energy to bark at the rabbits. We said hello to the ponies while walking our dog around the field and in the evening our walks were made easier by the use of a torch supplied by the ever friendly and helpful owners, such a lovely touch, as was the welcome package, mmm wine. Definitely recommend the place, hope to come back soon.

Ideal spot for all east coast activities lovely cottage clean, modern & owners very friendly. Stayed a week so quiet horses and rabbits for company on lazy days. If you want something other than a caravan or hotel for a week this is ideal.

We had a great time at Hawthorne cottage. Really well equipped, it met all of our needs. There is a little back yard that's enclosed so we felt that our little dog was safe in there. The cottage is located a short drive from various locations so we visited many different places. The owners are very nice and helpful. Highly recommended.

My wife and I and our border collie really enjoyed our stay. Nice and quiet and loads of space to walk the dog. The cottage was of a high standard in all respects. Would recommend it to anyone
