Very nice cottage but lacks a few touches eg no handwash in bathroom and toilets and dishwasher is far too small for a property that can sleep 9 people - also tv signal needs sorting out. Main gripe is that when run out of hot water there is no access to system to put it on boost - and believe me a few showers and a bath use it all - need to get that sorted ! Location is lovely though

This was ideal as we needed somewhere for a person using a wheelchair/walker. The ease of moving around the ground floor with its bedroom and walk in shower made this a perfect choice and made for a relaxing base from which to explore the area.

A lovely house in a very quiet village location with no traffic noise, but close to a great pub. We really appreciated the new white towels and bedding, hard floors (no carpets) and the cleanliness of the house and equipment. A shelf or ledge in the large bedroom en-suite would be useful, not least to put your glasses on when washing (safer than the floor!). But that is a very minor comment and indicates what a high quality house this is.

A really lovely cottage which was warm, comfortable and well equipped. The location was superb, with good car parking and lovely views. Sheldon is a beautiful little village with an exceptional pub, which served great food and beer and had very friendly locals. Walking available from the doorstep and easy access to Bakewell and Chatsworth House, where we enjoyed the Christmas displays. Thanks for a great weekend.

A lovely cottage - very clean and comfortable in a beautiful rural location in the heart of the peak district giving access within half an hour to most tourist areas . It was a great place for all the family to get together and an added bonus was the playing field with children's playground a short walk away. The local pub also served good food.

We had a lovely family holiday in Ash Tree Barn .The accommodation is perfect for a family get together . The house is very warm and cosy with unlimited hot water. The view is rural and beautiful. The local pub is 2 minutes walk away and perfect for eating out. There is so much to do and see in the area with lots of local paths for walks nearby. Close to Bakewell and Buxton and Ashford for days out. Chatsworth is nearby though there was so much else to do we never quite made it there.
