Couldn't ask for a nicer place. In a nicer location. Me my partner our 3 children and 2 dogs stayed over Christmas and surprisingly there was ample room. We will be re visiting ash as it couldn't of been nicer and its far enough yet close enough to everything you need.

Ash is a very comfortable, compact cottage in a quiet farm complex in Bream. It is well equipped and spotlessly clean. The situation is ideal for visiting the Forest of Dean, the Wye Valley and, for longer days out, the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons. There are lots of things to do whatever the weather. After busy days out, we self catered for an evening meal and relaxed in the pleasant sitting room with a view of the sheep and the hillside. The Chinese meal from the take away in the village on our last evening was disappointing. We had a very pleasant week, won't hesitate to stay in Ash if we return to the area, and will certainly recommend.

A lovely peaceful place to stay, just off the main road. Could see the buzzard and a pheasant from the window of the cottage it just added to the holiday.

lovely location property would be fine for 2 adults and 2 children but living quarters a little cramped for 4 adults The beds were extremly comfortable and the en suite facilities good. The heating in the accomodation was fantastic .

We had a lovely stay. The cottage was very clean and well equiped. The only thing we found was that it was a little too compact we were a party of 3 adults, also found the couch and chairs a bit uncomfortable. The location is wonderful for the walks we did and very handy for Tintern Abbey and Offas Dyke which were very interesting.
