We really enjoyed our week at Ash Lodge. Clive & Judith were very welcoming and it was great to have freedom to roam around the farm. Our two girls loved the animals and messing about in the stream and fields. The location, while not being actually in the national park, is great for access to all the main parts of eastern Exmoor, with plenty to do within a few miles. We really loved the lodge. It was well equiped with everything we needed. Spotlessly clean and loads of storage including enough clothes hangers! My only suggestion would be for a couple more lamps in the living room so as not to rely on the brighter overhead lights. We really appreciated the wine and eggs on our arrival, as well as few other essentials to get us started.
