1st day was greated with water coming up through the flooring and flooding hallway due to blocked outside drain. The noise from the road can be heard from all but one room of the house and is deceptively busy especially early morning. Location of house is good. Disappointed.

Kitchen could do with some tlc. No visitors book? These are normally an invaluable point of information regarding places to visit & eat!

We are a family with 2 small children and found the cottage to dangerous for our children, the landing upstairs does not have any bannister so the stairs are open with a step outside the bedroom, so if they slipped could have been fatal, we actually put the travel cot up and into the space for safety. Also the beds were uncomfortable you can feel the springs through the mattress. So I would not recommend this property for anyone with small children and I would definitely not rate this place 5 star and anyone requiring wifi/internet because it is not available.

Warm and cosy cottage. Very clean and well equipped. In a good location for travelling around the island. Attractive and well kept large garden. Highly recommend the White Lion pub a short stroll away. No WiFi and limited mobile phone signal which was a real plus.
