The cottage was a lovely hideaway! That was the only fault finding it the first time as the gates to the drive were wide open and that is where the name was! Once we found it we were delighted, just perfect for two,we had everything we needed, the owner was freindly and helpful,we were in easy reach of so many places of interest including the famous brewery in the village itself- well worth a visit. The peace and quiet , the views fabulous watchin g the sheep get fed and the birds visiting the bird table right outside the main window. We had a wonderful time and the week went all too quickley!
