Thoroughly enjoyed our time there. It was extremely cold as there were no instructions on how to light the fire or how the heating worked, but we contacted the owners in the morning (as we arrived quite late in the evening) and as they only lived next door they came over straight away and showed/told us how to work everything and it warmed up. It is very secluded but we didn't mind, we brought all our own food and drinks so didn't need to go into the village. Would be lovely to visit in the summer. I would definitely recommend to friends. Thanks for having us!

The location of the cottage is very quiet and peaceful, however we found it very hard to get the cottage to be fully warm. With only the fire for heating the radiators in the other rooms really struggled to take the chill off, and the mornings were really cool. We found the logs provided produced an awful Lot of smoke and the room became quite uncomfortable. The property itself would benefit from an oil boiler for the radiators. You pay for logs and electricity used on leaving which can be expensive depending on how many barrows of logs you use. We used 3 in 5 days. The gaps under the main back door was so large you could put your fingers under the door. The wind hammers where we'll needed. If you want peace and being away from everything the cottage is great, but we felt a car was needed to visit the local amenities. The shower was an over the bath shower and do feel an electric shower would have been more benefit.

A delightful cottage in a picturesque setting, made all the more enjoyable for the peace and quiet and Dave the owner. All parts of SW Wales within easy driving distance. Our puppy loved it too.

The Cottage was in a beautiful place with a very warm welcome from the owner. we could not really fault it in anyway. the only fault for us is nothing to do with the cottage but we enjoy walking, and like walking from the door and not using the car much, we were unable to do this from the cottage. we still had a very enjoyable holiday.

It's a nice cottage with a very cottagey feel, however much less well equipped than many others these days - eg not enough utensils / cooking equipment; beds too small for tall people; shower is only a trickle. It's charming that you use a wood fired stove to get hot water, but rather wearing after the 3rd day of the holiday. There is an immersion heater alternative. NB you are charged extra for electricity usage. I think we would stay again, but main issue is location: it is an hour's drive to whitesands from here - next year we want somewhere closer to the beach.

Amazing location, well kept property and maintained to the highest standards. Incredibly helpful owner, truly made us feel welcome waited with cakes, tea/ coffee , milk in the fridge . We never felt so welcomed in any place we stayed and the property looks much better than shown on the pictures Highly recommended and can not wait to return.
