We had an absolute fantastic time, the cottage was idyllic and cosy. We will definitely be returning again. Good value for money and lovely, friendly owners. We are very pleased with our stay and look forward to returning.

The situation with the heating was the major problem with this property. The central heating was run off the wood burner, consequently you could not have the cottage warm when waking up as you needed to light the fire beforehand nor was the cottage warm to come home to after a day out. The ill fitting doors made it difficult to keep the place warm as it was so drafty. Electric heaters were provided to supplement the heating but as you had to pay for the electric used on top of a cost for the logs it became a very costly extra. However, the location was beautiful and would be a fabulous place to stay in the summer.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; The guest arrived at the property on possibly one of the coldest days of the year, the property was lovely and warm on arrival, the next day there was snow on the ground. The cost of heating, hot water, lighting and cooking was £7.98. There is a gap under the back door, there is a draught excluder available (next to door), the gap is due to no threshold so wheelchairs can access easier.

Overall we had a lovely stay at our cottage , it is fairly isolated so would not suit everyone but we loved that about it . Lovely patio area with stunning views and a great swing area for the children to play in . The cottage had everything we needed and we loved exploring the Pembrokeshire coast

The location was absolutely wonderful, so quiet, took me right back to my rural childhood! It was so good to be so immersed in the natural world, and the stars at night were amazing! The cottage itself was very well equipped, and even beach towels were provided, and the kitchen was fully equipped, though a few more plates and bowls would have made using the dishwasher more feasible.

Thoroughly enjoyed our time there. It was extremely cold as there were no instructions on how to light the fire or how the heating worked, but we contacted the owners in the morning (as we arrived quite late in the evening) and as they only lived next door they came over straight away and showed/told us how to work everything and it warmed up. It is very secluded but we didn't mind, we brought all our own food and drinks so didn't need to go into the village. Would be lovely to visit in the summer. I would definitely recommend to friends. Thanks for having us!
