The location of the cottage was fantastic, but unfortunately the property is for sale this might be the reason why the owners haven't invested in the house

Fabulous cottage in a wonderful location. Big garden, with plenty of patio chairs, and table. Comfy beds, everything we needed in kitchen - although kettle leaked. Nice towels and plenty of them too. Rubbish showers which was really the only negative of our stay. We had a great week at Appledore and visited lots of villages, Cheltenham and Oxford.

Our second visit with our grandchildren, and their parents of course. Plenty of space inside and out, ideally situated close to everything that Bourton on the Water has to offer. Car once parked was not used until it was time to go home.

The cottage has a great location with access to the town within walking distance. The cottage amenities are basic but functional. The shower pressure in both showers is low. Great garden and it would have been nice to have more comfortable garden future in the event we had good weather. The heating was a bit sporadic ; sometimes the radiators worked other times not, but the gas fire in the living room was very efficient. Good sized cottage with good sized bed rooms. The decor is a little tired looking. A basic cottage.....no frills at all.

Well placed, nice house with almost everything you could want. Could have done with a corkscrew and working wi-fi.
