These attractive detached holiday properties are located next to the owner’s home, have lovely countryside views yet only half a mile from the town in a rural location. Convenient for the beautiful rugged Atlantic Coast and Bodmin Moor. Golf, riding and swimming available nearby. Tintagel of King Arthur fame is 5 miles and Boscastle 6 miles. Sandy beach 4 miles. Eden Project ½ hr by car. Shop and pub ½ mile.

All on ground floor: Living/dining room/kitchen. 2 double bedrooms, one with additional single. Bathroom with bath, shower cubicle and toilet.

    On arrival it wasn't clear which cottage we were to go to as there were no names. The beds and sofas were very comfortable. The kitchen was poorly equipped, forks were bending just trying to put food on them. The property couldn't be described as clean. Would have been nice to have been left cleaning materials. I spent the first day cleaning the kitchen. The hot tap was marked as cold in the kitchen which could be dangerous. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. The complimentary cream teas were a nice touch. The property wasn't ready when we arrived even though we arrived after the specified time.The photograph in the brochure was misleading as furniture had been repositioned to make it look more spacious. There was a large roughly hand written sign in the garden advising to clean up dog poo. This eradicated any homely feel. The garden would have been more dog friendly if the door had opened into the garden. The property was very near a road which made it less safe for dogs than we would have wished.

    Nearly Perfect in all areas regarding accomodation and perfect location to holiday.

    This is a lovely cottage with everything you could need. It was ideal for our two dogs as the garden is enclosed but there was also a large field they could be walked in. The owners were friendly and helpful.
