These well appointed and attractive detached holiday cottages lie in the village of Kewstoke, only 1.5 miles to a local unspoilt beach at Sandbay and the National Trust headland of Sand Point. They have been renovated and offer a comfortable and peaceful base from which to explore the surrounding countryside and resorts. Only 3 miles to Weston-super-Mare with its long sandy beaches, aquarium, shops and traditional family attractions, and the smaller resorts of Clevedon, Burnham-on-Sea and Brean. With easy access to the M5, it is a short drive to other coastal areas of North Devon and Wales. The surrounding countryside includes the Quantock and Blackdown Hills, and the Somerset levels and moors, providing ample opportunities for walking and cycling. Further afield places to visit include Cheddar Gorge and caves, Wookey Hole, the cities of Bath and Bristol, Glastonbury and Wells. The owners provide a free family ticket to Puxton Park Family Attractions for bookings of 3 nights or longer. Shops, pub and restaurant 1.5 miles.

    We loved Apple barn. It is a short drive to lovely sand bay- a gorgeous quiet beach (where you can park in a free carpark) and a few minutes drive to supermarkets or western (if you want a busier resort with pier etc). We also made use of our free puxtons park ticket (great idea by the way!) which was good fun and had plenty of inside things to do if it's a rainy day

    Very nice cottage, in a lovely location, the only thing we were a bit disappointed with was the cleaning mainly in the detail. Kitchen floor was very sticky, bathroom fan had a fur coat of dust all over. The only other thing was whenever you ran a tap the shower would start. Overall though we enjoyed our holiday and sandy beach was lovely.

    Had a lovely 4 night stay in Apple Barn. We had plenty of space for our belongings & for our son to crawl and play. The bed was a little short for my husband who is 6ft3" but otherwise we were comfortable (the reclining sofa was great). The kitchen was well equipped, we just had to buy hand soap and kitchen roll. We appreciated the high chair and travel cot which saved space in our car. The cottage didn't have a bath which is tricky with a little one, also there was a damp/ musty smell about the place so it needed airing out a bit, but this didn't ruin our stay. It was a bit too dodgy for us to walk along the country lane but most attractions are within a short driving distance. Overall we enjoyed our family break at Apple Barn and were also grateful for the Puxton Park tickets.

    Lovely spacious property, good location for getting to local attractions and facilities. Shame it did not have a bath but we managed for a weekend but it probably would have been a struggle for longer with a toddler.

    Lovely cottage really cosy. Kitchen is well equipped & very clean. Bedrooms are lovely with good mattresses & again really clean. It very close to western super mare with its beautiful beach. Nice garden although the road can be a little noisy but that won't put me off from staying here again. All in all a great place to stay

    The holiday accommodation is excellent. Very light, spacious, comfortable and clean. It is well equipped and there is plenty of space outside for children to safely run around and a nice sheltered spot to eat outdoors if the weather is good. We will definitely be going again and highly recommend Apple Barn.
