Cosy and comfortable. Large rooms for such an old cottage and loads of storage.

The cottage had everything we required for our three night stay and was in a good location. The bedrooms were light and airy and downstairs was homely and comfortable. I would have liked the information about the cottage and surrounding area to have been in a central place as we only found the information in the visitors book when we came to write in it on the last day. We also struggled with the alarm as having pressed a wrong button once we were unable to successfully reset it. These however were minor niggles that didn't spoil a lovely break in a charming cottage.

I would book it again if the bathroom were refurbished. The quality of the units is disappointing. The shower head in particular is in a barely acceptable condition. The lack of refuse collection information might easily lead to annoyance at the least.

a very comfortable warm and well equipped cottage. Very good bath and shower and car park outside the cottage. The cottage is opposite the church but no church bells to wake you from your slumbers.

Small but warm and homely, well equipped, and with a nice little courtyard. TV & DVD player both working and easy to operate and the sofas were comfy - which things can be issues in holiday rentals. My only criticisms are smallish double bed and noisy fridge freezer. Parking immediately outside but a tight squeeze if you have a large car. It was nice to get access to the cottage early in the day.

The cottage is lovely. Pretty clean, I always clean bathrooms before I use them but this time it was less necessary than usual. The welcome note and items is a nice touch and the laminated information cards useful. However they state there is a pay phone and there is not and they also state that they have a recycling policy but don't give any further information on this which would be useful. I've chosen we would stay again but this would be dependent on wifi being available next time. We're happy to use our own data allowance but our signal in the village was shocking and so we were effectively cut off from home. We have a large family we like to stay in touch with when away so this was a big issue for us and would stop us staying here again. The cottage is cosy, it is quite dark downstairs despite lots of windows but the artificial lighting is good. There's two comfy settees and a dinning table and four chairs. The double bed was comfy and the whole place well equipped. The towels are very old and thin so I'd take my own next time but they did the job ok...ish. The stairs are open and steep with narrow treads so need to be negotiated carefully. There is a stair gate at the top but not at the bottom. The garden is a courtyard which is enclosed but in need of some TLC and a good old tidy up. The parking space is a bit of a nightmare. It's directly outside the front door and shared with the neighbouring property. We did not have any problem with the neighbour who seemed considerate but it is a tight space quite hard to park in, an estate car would struggle to fit in, in my opinion. There was rarely any parking available on the road outside the cottage when we stayed. The locality is good, couple of lovely pubs with good food within a few minutes walk, a local shop and chippy and church directly opposite, a good bit of green within walking distance for dogs and children and Woodbridge a nice walk away, some lovely pubs, shops and bakeries.

Very quaint. Plenty of parking on street directly outside house. Lovely to have goodies left for us. A good pub within walking distance, also a grocery store and fish and chip shop.

The cottage is comfortable and well located, however the soft furnishings, towels and bedding are very dated, and the sheets had been patched. The staircase would be an issue with small children, although there is a stairgate at the top. Both pubs in the village were good to eat at and the whole area made a great holiday destination. All in all a pleasant stay but not up the standard of other cottages that we have stayed at, so unlikely to return to this particular cottage.
