We had a very pleasant stay with everything we needed. The cottage is in a secluded location and quiet. Our only negative comments are the very uncomfortable single beds (my son was unhappy), and the sofa has seen better days. There were several spiders & cowebs which I fully accept are usual in the country, but some cobwebs looked quite old.

A beautiful place to stay. We had a wonderful week there and Sarah and her family made us very welcome. Would definitely go again. Beds were very comfortable, plenty of hot water and the heating was just right. We were invited to collect eggs from the chickens which were delicious, thank you Sarah. Lydney was just down the road for shops and supermarket and our dog loved the walks in the Forest. Perfect place for a break.

Beautiful getaway cottage in very quiet location. Very off the beaten track, so you really must have transport and not that easy to find in the dark. Cottage has a very homely feel though and you feel relaxed from the moment you enter. The upstairs bedroom is fantastic, with loads of space and very comfortable bed. If we revisited area, would certainly not hesitate to book again.
