Ideal for location for walking the Llyn Peninsula, this detached cottage with woodburner, easily reached are Aberdaron and Abersoch.

This detached holiday property is situated in Dinas, ideal for walking and exploring the Llyn Peninsula. There is a private, large, fenced fly-fishing lake just a 10-minute walk away from the property, which is well-stocked with brown and rainbow trout. Fishing on the lake is free of charge on a catch and release basis (equipment and rod licence required). Porthdinllaen is just a short distance away, as is the beach at Porth Oer, or Whistling Sands, so called because the rounded grains of sand squeak when walked upon. Take a trip to Bardsey Island, home of twenty thousand saints, an exciting way to appreciate this coastline. Within easy reach are Aberdaron, Abersoch, Pwllheli, Criccieth with its castle perched almost on the beach or Porthmadog, home of the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Steam Railways. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

Ground floor: Living room. Kitchen. 2 double bedrooms. Bathroom with bath, shower cubicle and toilet. Shower room and toilet. Paddle stairs to first floor: 1 twin bedroom with Velux and low headroom.

Woodburner in living room (no fuel provided). Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Travel cot and high chair on request. Freeview TV. DVD. Electric cooker. Lovely cottage, deceptively large with a small enclosed garden that is safe for young children. Within easy driving reach of Morfa Nefyn, Abersoch and Pwllheli.

This is a lovely bungalow. There is off road parking and a lovely garden with patio/decking. Inside the bungalow is modern with modern furniture. There are two double beds downstairs and two single beds up a paddle staircase. There are 2 bathrooms and a washing machine and dishwasher. The bungalow was clean. The bedlinen and soft furnishings were all clean. There was a dining table the kitchen which could accommodate 6 people, alternatively you could eat outside on the decking. There was plenty of hot water. The tv was modern and fixed to the wall. There is no door for the upstairs so you can hear the noise from the downstairs. The stairs are steep. The central heating is locked away so you cannot adjust when its on. The owner popped over one morning to see if we were ok. On the last day we had a problem with the key but the owner was over in 5 minutes to sort it out for us.

Just like being in a family home. I felt comfortable as soon as I walked through the door. The two bedrooms on the ground floor there is no problems, but the one up on the first floor needs a child gate fitting if you use it for children, as the stairs are not of the normal type and are quite steep, also they are highly painted with gloss paint making them very slippery if you do not have some thing an your feet that will grip the steps, but please do not let this comment put you off, as my overall opinion of the property is one that would make me say, I would book it again.

Very clean cottage. Located in a very quiet area. Car is a must for the location as there were no paths for walking and there was a fair distance to any shops / beaches.
