We loved every moment lovely owners and beautiful dogs and the farm house was so cozy and idyllic. We will be returning as soon as we are able to but maybe next time we will sleep in a cabin on the ferry 32hours of no sleep made us lose half a day which was an awful shame.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the cottage. However, be aware that it is very much in the sticks and there aren't many amenities close by. Some of the items in the cottage require updating (kitchen equipment and mattress) but overall good value for the cost.

Really enjoyed staying at the cottage. Owners very welcoming and helpful. Lots to explore locally Derren Gardens is a must especially if you have kids. Lots of walking around cottage and Healy pass our stay didn't do area justice. Take waterproofs !

Perfect spot for unwinding and regaining sanity. Set in beautiful countryside with very welcoming hosts, torn between sightseeing surrounding area or just curling up with lots of books - we chose the latter. Views magnificent, plenty of secure area for dogs to explore around the well-kept gardens, and Helen's bar a short drive away, what more could we want? We needed the open fire during the week but just added to cosy and tranquil feelings.

Amazing views for this beautiful, rustic and isolated farm house. Got a bit of a shock on arrival to find a campsite in situ, but this really does not impinge of the privacy and remote feeling of the cottage. Once you pass through the quiet campsite and drive up a rhododendron lines track, the campsite is completely lost from memory. Mary and Michael gave us a fantastic welcome, complete with home made cake. they were also very accommodating when we had to knock them up on our last morning because we had to suddenly leave early. The Beara Peninsula is so beautiful and outstrips ring of Kerry by miles. ( less travel too!)

We absolutely loved our stay at Angela's Cottage, Lauragh and plan to return. The farmhouse was wonderfully snug and comfortable and is a lot larger than it looks. The owners were super-helpful and friendly and did everything to make us feel welcome. Most memorable were the warm evenings spent sitting outside for hours watching the sun set over the most fantastic view you could wish for. When it rained it was cosy inside with the log and peat fire. Superbly placed on the beautiful Ring of Beara, the farmhouse and lovely people gave us a perfect first impression of Ireland.
