This was my third stay at Anchor cottage and once again it was a fantastic one. The cottage is as well looked after as ever. It was spotlessly clean . It's well equipped especially the kitchen and the location is stunning and is perfect for the type of kayaking holiday we go there for . Crinan is a real departure from everyday life. I drive up full of anticipation for the coming week and have to drag myself away when it's time to leave. The two bottles of red wine left for our arrival were a nice touch. Definitely recommended if you need a break away from it all.

Absolutely loved the accommodation and the location is superb. We witnessed the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen. A boat trip from the harbour with captain Sandy was well worth doing. Saw sea eagles and visited Corryveckan whirlpool. The Crinan hotel was a great venue and an afternoon pint followed by evening meal was well worth the money and walk. Lots to do and see in the area but some highlights were Kilmartin museum and tea room, Inverarey and the isle of Mull. Loved it!!

We have been before, stunning location and house very well equipped. Very clean and lovely touch with flowers and wine on arrival. Great having a contact yet no-one to meet and greet - great idea, key code ideal. The only reason I have put value for money is that being tied to school holidays I always have to pay maximum rentals. Fabulous house, would recommend to anyone.

A very clean and comfortable cottage with beautiful views. We have stayed in a lot of self catering properties in Scotland and this is one of the best. The fresh flowers and bottle of wine on arrival are a lovely touch. The property is in a good location for exploring the area and we would definitely recommend it to others.
