A lovely cottage in a brilliant location for easy access to Stratford and the Cotswolds. Only a 7 minute drive to the car park by the river at Stratford. The cottage is well laid out, comfortable and cosy. It is well equipped making for a stress free holiday. Ideal for a couple or small family .

A well appointed, clean holiday home. It was a convenient location for touring the area and only 10mins drive from Stratford town centre. The owners were helpful and friendly and even left a welcome pack of bread, butter, biscuits, tea and coffee etc. The only down side was, because the bathroom was in the eaves, when you cleaned your teeth in the sink your head was a bit close to the ceiling, but it wasn't really a problem. Also the accommodation would be more suited to a family with children rather than 4 adults as you had to walk through the main bedroom to get from the little bedroom to the bathroom. It wasn't an issue for us as there were only 2 of us so the bedroom was more than adequate.

Towels were damp. Main TV in living room only showed main 5 channels. Interference on other stations. No sub titles which is a big thing when you are deaf. Heating system very loud when operated.

We booked ourselves in a long weekend stay over. Alveston Pastures seemed ideal, secluded yet close to Stratford and Warwick. It wasn't too easy to find as there wasn't any discernible landmarks, particularly tricky when returning in the dark. The cottage itself is well equipped with most things catered for those who are travelling as a family. It is also clean and well decorated, it has a nice cosy feel to it. Points to call out is really the 2nd bedroom which is small with height restrictions, it's really suited to children or adults who really get along with each other as you sleep almost within an arms length of each other! As per other reviews, the main bed is a bit creaky and could do with either replacement/repair or tightening.

A well presented holiday conversion. Modern facilities and lovely and clean. The only downside was creaky beds and the bathroom sink could do with re siting as it was not easy to wash without bumping your forehead on the sloping ceiling. Apart from these two little gripes I would definitely book again if in the area.

Nice and very well equiped cottage, but the second room is to low for one adult.

Adequate for two people, but four adults would find upstairs bedroom/bathroom layouts far from ideal, due to lack of storage space and shared access to bathroom via main bedroom.

Beautifully and tastefully decorated. Very private and comfortable for a 3 week stay.
