The property is not in a quiet rural position as implied in the advert. It is at the top of a large housing estate, next to a large primary school and with adjacent neighbours. The latter played loud rave music on the first and second nights until 11pm. The property had cleaning issues i.e oven/hob floors very dusty and full of cobwebs. The lounge was redundant as the sofa (the main seat facing TV) needed replacing due to seat having no cushion support. The stairs had a fitted child gate at the top and bottom of the stairs; the latter made it very difficult to mobilise onto/off the stairs particularly with luggage. Unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues. The jacuzzi shower had loose fittings which made it difficult to turn water on/off and the water pressure was poor for the jacuzzi jets. The shower in the ensuite had a constant dripping. There were very few accessible plug sockets; particularly difficult for drying hair in the main bedroom as the sockets were too far away from the mirror. None available in any of the other bedrooms either, so this had to be done downstairs in the hallway, using a gang lead that was wrapped around the back of the table and was full of dust. Again, another issue for those with mobility difficulties. The bin supplied in the kitchen was too small for the size of the property as was the outdoor bin which appeared to be the only one used by three properties. Every time the main house had visitors the drivers would pip their horn on leaving; one day this happened on at least 4 occasions and became very aggravating. We booked this property as we wanted a quiet holiday in a rural setting; this property offers neither.

Fabulous place to stay with all mod cons very clean and tidy only drawback there was no outdoor containment for the dog and small children with the front yard open to the road so constance surveillance was needed with regards to the front door to make sure there was no escapes other than that no complaints.
