We loved the care you could see the owners put into the cottage. From the engs, cake, water, beer and wine on arrival, to the nice furniture and draperies. The bed was perfect. Good location for the remoted Morverns and to go by Ferry from Lochaline to Mull.

Very cosy little house with all necessities and really nice little extras including a delicious home made cake. Excellent area for walking and cycling. Amazing wild life. Quick ferry ride across to Mull. Even though the weather wasn't to brilliant really enjoyed our stay at this little gem of a property. Although we wouldn't stay here again (only because there's much more of Scotland to see) we would recommend staying here. Many thanks to Peggy & Martin.

A wildlife haven, but be prepared, its out on a limb as far as centrality is concerned. However we would recommend it. V.F.M. Peaceful and tranquil.

We had a wonderful new year break in a beautiful location, well away from the hustle & bustle of every day life. Peggy & Martin were perfect hosts and pretty much left us to our own devices but were always there when we needed them. The property is small but clean & cosy but plenty big enough for a couple. Not much to do in the immediate area off season, which didn't bother us too much but it is ideally placed for catching the ferry to Mull for a nice day out. We will definitely be going again.

The tranquillity and remoteness of the cottage allowed us to unwind and relax completely. Peggy and Martin were the perfect hosts, very helpful and welcoming and then leaving us to our own devices. The garden is a haven for wildlife. the standard of all about the cottage was high and the (midge free) weather was so kind we were able to walk each day, as hoped, in differing environments. The ferry made trips to Mull very simple and the shop in the village provided all immediate needs. The river was a constant soothing backdrop to our slepp.
