This property was excellent. Close to town but not too busy around it. It was very clean and comfortable with the luxury of a separate bath and shower. Our 1 year old found toys to play with and it is very family friendly. It is also ideally placed for exploring Bamburgh, Lindisfarne and many other tourist hot spots.

Clean, well-equipped and spacious cottage within easy walking distance of harbour in Seahouses. Lovely new bathroom and comfortable lounge. Good central location for visiting Alnwick, Bamburgh, Alnmouth and even Berwick-upon-Tweed. Beautiful beaches nearby and ample opportunity to take a boat trip to the Farne Islands.

Clean, comfortable, attractive accommodation and the house was so well-placed for exploring. Many days we left the car on the driveway and explored by foot, bus or boat. By foot we walked St Oswald's Way to Bamburgh, to explore the romance of Bamburgh, returning along sandy beaches to Seahouses as the sun was setting. By bus we travelled the other way along the coast to Craster, walking back via Dunstanburgh Castle, Embleton Bay and Beadnell Bay. By boat we visited the Farne Islands, landing on Inner Farne to see the puffins. Our holiday home, Aidan, was well fitted-out and each day it was a pleasure to return there to relax and unwind.

Fab stay. Excellent location and house is warm, cosy and very comfortable. I am a bit picky on cleanliness and couldn't fault the house. Facilities (fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer etc etc) was great. Great communication from the owner too. I would definitely stay here again and I have even recommended the house to friends and family.

The bathroom needs an update. A tray and rice sieve would be usefull . Otherwise everything was fine. Plenty of local information available in the cottage.

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for the comments regarding the bathroom, as the property has been very busy this year we plan to refit and re-tile the bathroom at the end of November. The kitchen is actually fitted and equipped to a very high standard so we are sorry you found some items to be missing and we have replaced the tray and the rice sieve.

A well located property, close to the town centre. Very well equipped kitchen and cosy lounge. The main bedroom was spacious with plenty of wardrobe space. The bathroom fittings were in need of some attention, as the shower holder was coming away from the wall as was the towel rail.
