After a day out exploring, cosy up in front of the multi-fuel burner at this quirky retreat, which enjoys stunning views.

This quirky detached holiday property for two has marvellous views out over the valley and out to sea in the distance. Beautifully converted from a former hunting lodge, it has a lovely rustic feel to it. There are walks available from the door and the Offa’s Dyke footpath is nearby. There’s a sandy beach at Prestatyn and the castles at Rhuddlan and Bodelwyddan are well worth visiting. The little city of St Asaph is also nearby and day visits to Llandudno, Conwy and Chester are also possible. Beach 10 miles. Shop, pub serving food and restaurant 1 mile.

All on ground floor: Living room/kitchen with breakfast area, beams and tiled floor. 1 double bedroom with 3 steps down to en-suite shower room and toilet.

Multi-fuel burner in living room (initial fuel included). Gas central heating included (£25per week, £15 per short break November-March). Gas, electricity (by generator), bed linen and towels included. No TV. Gas cooker. Combi microwave/oven/grill. Garden with sitting-out area and furniture. Parking (2 cars). Cycle store. Natural water supply from reservoir. No smoking.

Beautiful place and surrounding area. I wish the fridge was bigger and working better as wasnt cooling at all. Luckly had my own car fridge so didn't waste any food but had make sure the generator is on.Would recommend this place anyway .

Genuinely secluded location with fantastic views and Great walks from the doorstep. Perfect size for couple plus dog, felt larger inside than photos suggested with nice size shower room, bedroom with big bed and a generous kitchen, dining, living room with central heating throughout and a stove which kept the place cosy too. The isolated location was exactly what we were after but bear in mind that this means it only has a small gas fridge keeping things cool rather than cold and no freezer but we found this fine for a long weekend and shops are only a short drive away. Cannot emphasise enough the terrific location, views and walks. Spent 3 nights had two lovely walks which we and the dog loved (4 & 10miles) didn't use the car. Really friendly pub a 10-15min pleasant walk (up hill on way back) in Cwm called The Blue Lion, open Thursday-Sunday did very nice food. Will definitely visit again.

It was an exallent ,relaxing stay at rhe lodge, very cosy. The outside seating was fit for the log burner please replace it, it lets the outside down. I would have liked a bigger fridge as i like cooking. We will back next year.

Absolutely lovely cottage and views to die for, very remote but so nice. Lovely walks from there, take note of where you staying as not many could help when me and my partner got lost! 😃 The log fire and views made it the ideal place to stay, will definitely consider staying there again.
